WHAT ARE THE DOCUMENTS NEEDED FOR APPLYING A MAID?
  • Latest original Form J (husband & wife) with combined minimum income of RM84,000.00 per annum for Indonesia maid, RM60,000.00 per annum for Filipino / Philippine maids.
  • Form B / BE should be submitted as individual supporting document
  • Original company letter of appointment indicating position held and monthly salary for both the husband & wife.
  • A scanned photocopy of pay slips for the last 3 months from both the husband & wife.
  • IC Photocopy of husband & wife.
  • 2x Passport-sized color photo of husband & wife each.
  • Photocopy of marriage certificate.
  • Photocopy of child/children birth certificate.

Your maid will be employed under a 2-year contract. With mutual agreement between you and your maid, and in accordance with the latest governmental rules and regulations, she can continue to work for you indefinitely.

However, our package typically includes only the first-year permit. You will need to renew the permit for the second year and for subsequent years if you wish to extend her services beyond the contract period, based on mutual agreement.

As an employer, you are responsible for the welfare of your assigned maid. This includes:

  • Providing sufficient food
  • Allowing adequate rest periods
  • A designated area for rest and sleep
  • Basic hygiene products and toiletries
  • Medical attention and healthcare needs
  • Treating her with respect, considering her culture, dignity, and identity
  • Providing a safe and secure working environment

You will also be governed by the terms and conditions of maid employment set by the Immigration Department of Malaysia.

Firstly, identify if the requested tasks or the treatment of the maid by family members are:

  • Inhumane
  • Disrespectful
  • Unreasonable
  • Hurtful

Maids, despite being from another country, are still human beings. When their culture, dignity, or safety is threatened, it is understandable for them to react.

Additionally, AP CHAND Maid Agency provides free consultations and re-training to assist you in managing your maid. If the maid is still within the 3-month warranty period, you are eligible to replace her with another.
